DiffMix – Contributing urban design to the Capital of Culture Esch 2022
As part of Esch2022, Differdange is part of the European Capital of Culture. DiffMix is a project that uses art to transform locations in Differdange and gives citizens the opportunity to influence the design of their surroundings.
DiffMix realises art at five locations in the city, created by artists from all over Europe, selected and co-designed by the city’s residents.

Five locations – five interventions
The citizens of Differdange have chosen five locations where art interventions will take place. In a Europe-wide online competition, artists submitted over 70 ideas, which were openly discussed and evaluated. Five proposals will now be realised.
